I am currently living in Minneapolis, MN with my always supportive life partner of 21 years, Erin. Professionally, I spend all of my time working on creating a new design platform called Brook. I have also owned and managed a t-shirt printing business where I got my start on creating web based design software. Before that, I was the general manager of a national big box retail store. Academically, I received a bachelor of science degree in computer science in 2009, but I am a big believer that constantly learning and hard work is more important. When I'm not working, I like to unwind up north in Minnesota at our family cabin on Lake Mille Lacs. I would also like to get more involved in the Laravel community by starting a Meetup group here in Minneapolis.
I am currently working full time on a design platform that I am creating called Brook. The purpose of Brook is to provide developers and designers a visual method of collaborating on Tailwind components and responsive imagery. The project provides direct integration with Laravel projects via a custom @brook blade directive and an artisan command to sync content. The thing that I really enjoy about using Brook is that it provides layers of visualization of Tailwind from a totally GUI based interface to a flipside code editor with emmet installed and a custom autocomplete for Tailwind styles. Nearly all of the platform is realtime, collaborative, and version controlled.

My experience with PHP and Javascript goes back to 2006. jQuery since 2010 or so. We won't talk about the ActionScript years. I received an AAS in Web Programming in 2006 and a BS in Computer Science in 2009.
